Overview:
· With the big EU Biomass conference last week and a mix of holidays this week, it’s quiet.
· Whether residential volumes or industrial volumes, wood pellets are sinking.
Demand:
· Demand is not gambling. Hand to mouth purchasing and little more. Why buy forward if everyone is bearish?
· The market wants steel to join the club. Getting all the pieces in place will take time. These more advanced solid fuels are part of a bigger puzzle involving syn gas & liquids, and other developers. Lots of moving parts.
Into ARA on the densified biomass deduct $1+- for every additional 1kt as there is a freight saving.
